Terms of Service | PrepAlly

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using PrepAlly, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

PrepAlly provides AI-powered mock interview practice using voice, vision, and resume-aware questioning. Features include real-time voice interviews with AI interviewers, resume parsing and analysis, job description-based interview configuration, AI-generated dynamic interviewer personas, posture and presence analysis via webcam, AI feedback reports with scoring and hiring decisions, and performance card generation. The service is intended for personal career development purposes only.

3. Free & Paid Plans

PrepAllyoffers a free tier with limited monthly interviews, resumes, and persona access, and a paid Pro plan with expanded limits and additional features (resume analysis, posture feedback, dynamic personas). Paid subscriptions are processed by Dodo Payments. Billing terms, cancellation, and refund policies are governed by Dodo Payments' terms of service in addition to these terms.

4. Account Responsibilities

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials.
You must not share, resell, or sublicence access to the service.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract underlying AI models.
Upload resumes or content belonging to someone else without authorisation.
Submit false, misleading, or harmful content via job descriptions or manual inputs.
Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or feature restrictions.
Interfere with the operation of the platform or its infrastructure.

6. Your Content

Your resume content, job descriptions, and interview responses remain yours. You grant PrepAlly a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your content solely to deliver the service - including AI analysis, feedback generation, and persona creation. We do not use your content to train AI models.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform code, AI-generated feedback reports, performance cards, interviewer personas, and branding are the intellectual property of PrepAlly. You may download and share your own performance cards and feedback for personal use.

8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

PrepAlly's feedback, scores, hiring decisions, resume analysis, and interviewer personas are AI-generated and provided for practice purposes only. They do not constitute professional career advice and do not guarantee any employment outcome. AI-generated posture and presence scores are approximations and should not be relied upon as medical or clinical assessments. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

9. Webcam & Audio

Live interviews require microphone access and optionally webcam access. Audio is streamed in real time for AI transcription and is not recorded or stored as audio files. Webcam frames are analysed for posture scoring and immediately discarded - only the resulting numeric scores and brief text observations are stored. You may disable the webcam at any time during an interview.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrepAlly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to reliance on AI-generated feedback or scores.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, all associated data (resumes, sessions, transcripts, feedback) is permanently removed from our database.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
